The Keychron C2 is a hot-swappable 104 keys full size white backlight wired mechanical keyboard made for Mac and Windows. Customize per-key typing experience to maximize your productivity on the C2 hot-swappable version without the need to solder.
With a layout optimized for Mac, the C2 has all necessary multimedia and function keys (Num Lock works with Windows only), while compatible with Windows, and comes with a dedicated Siri or Cortana key. Extra keycaps for both Mac and Windows operating systems are included.
Designed with reliability in mind, the C2 comes with USB Type-C wired connection with a braid cable, which ensures a constant power supply, and best to fit home and light gaming. Inclined bottom frame and 2 level adjustable feet makes the C2 more comfortable to type.
The C2 gives the freedom to customize per-key typing experience without soldering. The pre-installed Gateron Blue switch providing unrivaled tactile responsiveness on the linear Blue switch with a durable 50 million keystroke lifespan. *The C2’s hot-swappable socket switch is compatible with almost all the MX style 3pin and 5pin mechanical switches on the market (including Gateron, Cherry, Kailh, etc.). SMD-LED compatible switches are the best for showing the backlights.

Very Good Budget Mechanical Keyboard – I was a little hesitant to spend ~$70 on a mechanical keyboard when I am not really a hardcore gamer. But I decided why not try it out. As my first mechanical keyboard I definitely like it much more than my janky old membrane keyboard. I love the red switches. The sensitivity of it is great and once I got used to it, my efficiency in typing has increased.

Solid Keyboard for the new enthusiast – This keyboard is really great. I was debating between this and the GMMK, but when I saw that the GMMK had no removable cable in it’s full sized variant, I had to choose the Keychron. With a puppy that’s eating wires the easier it is to fix or replace a wire the better. It comes with a USB C to C cable with a USB C to A adapter so you can still use it in most ports. A keyboard like this doesn’t need a dedicated Type C port, especially since they’re still in the minority on most computers. The backlighting is nice, though a part of me wishes it was configurable through a program, but on the other end of the spectrum keeping its controls built in makes sure you don’t ever need any bloatware.

Wonderful value, quirky behavior going from Windows 10 to 11 – I love this keyboard for its value, its colors, and the feel of the switches now that I’ve gotten used to them and have applied o-rings. While I ran it on Windows 10 I had absolutely no complaints, but since upgrading to 11 I’ve experienced the quirk of some keys (namely the microphone/Cortana button) having lost its specific keybind (from Win+C to only Win). This is unfortunate since I used to have that button as a dedicated microphone mute switch, and now I’ve resorted to using PowerToys to rebind another key to replace it because PowerToys can’t restore that key’s original keybind. This isn’t a big deal to me, but to someone else who doesn’t have the know-how to diagnose and work around the issue this could be a point of contention.
